It’s not too late, Robert. We can still get them with an international arrest warrant, unless they have already escaped to South America. I’m sure there’s a highly qualified magistrate somewhere who can find the time to fill in the paperwork.

Musumeci should know that if the police had arrested the Italian journalist it would have created a diplomatic incident and would have cut an even worse figure for Malta – even with Maltese people.
