Not even Mintoff got away with his secret agreement with North Korea. And this was discovered when in Malta, computers and means of communication were banned by the Mintoffian regime or were under his direct control.

He will be a very bitter and angry individual, essentially a huge liability to Labour (which is OK) but will be very dangerous to anyone he perceives to have ruined his chances.
