For he was THE number one fan of the Moviment: ostensibly a political ideology calling for a united society to serve an ambiguous common goal, ‘Il-Gid tal-Pajjiz’.

In the Moviment, it is important to be posittiv; to make hay while the sun shines. That is why, in this utopia, blatant acts of corruption are brushed off as errors of judgement; an accusation of nepotism is dismissed as bitter jealousy; and administrative fiascos are blamed on the gvern precedenti.
