What a bunch of hamalli we have running this island. I remember when a few days before the last election, I overheard this smart looking lady (we were in a queue at a bank in Sliema) saying in a voice loud enough to be heard by many, that she was going to vote Labour ‘ to show them’ (the Nationalists). Whatever it was that she wanted to show the Nationalists, the result is this and probably not what she had in mind either. Tough. This is Labour for you, it has always been like that and it will always be like that.

Just heard on RAI news that two (white) lion cubs driven in a vehicle with destination Malta were seized by the polizia di stato somwehere near Bologna.

I wonder which ‘local’ animal was going to own these two cubs.
