It doesn't take a prophet to know that there will be a deal. It's more the nature of the deal which is the topic of debate, and the deal might well be rather watered down from what David Cameron wanted.

The general sentiment here is so anti-EU membership at the moment that I don't think any deal is going to make a huge difference to the way people will vote in the referendum of 23rd June. Those who have already chosen to vote the UK out of the EU, many of whom have their valid reasons for doing so, but do not realise the implications and huge difficulties which leaving would bring, will most likely consider the deal as some half-a*sed attempt by the EU which doesn't even merit consideration.

The average Joe in the streets has no clue what is to become of Britain's economy if it were to leave the common market. And if the UK doesn't leave the common market, by for instance becoming an EEA member, then free movement will still be in place, and migrants will be free to keep coming. The man in the street is not bothered with actually thinking through what leaving the EU would really mean. The UK can't just disconnect all ties. It's impossible. It's just an immature dream which the ignorant droves believe in.
