All those members on the board indicating ‘Perit’ as a title and then A.& C. E. after their names are in the wrong. When the Periti Act came into force the A.&C.E. designation ended.

The only ones who are entitled to show A.&C.E. after their names are the Periti who graduated with a B.Arch. in 1969 and 1971, and I believe a group who graduated with a B.Eng. and did a B.A. in Architectural studies in the mid to late 70s.

In those cases the A.&C.E. was actually a diploma conferred by the University.

The Kamra tal-Periti should clarify this to its members once and for all.
