Trusts are not a bad thing. People who set up trusts are not doing something illegal, still more when they are the lawyers or accountants who do it. It is the INTENT behind the setting up of the trust that is the issue in Konrad Mizzi’s case. Because he has no visible assets or income that warrant it, the intent must by definition be for something acquired illegally and illicitly.
