True, but that’s a small minority. I’d tend to agree with Mr. Vella Clark that for the absolute majority it’s just about winning the League, the Best Festa, and the Election.

I am not shocked at this shocking behaviour. Unfortunately it is common knowledge that the ethics bar is set at different heights for Labour or Nationalist administrations.

I think the reason they are holding on is that the multi-million agreements are tainted with illicit dealings – but I don’t think it will be the end of the gravy train by our government ministers alone.

I think it could be much worse than any of us can begin to imagine, and I think if and when it all implodes then we could be witnessing not only default notices, but law proceedings covering different jurisdictions, together with international arbitration covering the consortium partnerships, and the joint ventures and security of supply agreements, and worse.
