Daphne, I’m aware of that and didn’t make that mistake. It is everything however. And it has got to be something. My concern is: according to the act, what are they going to find that is in his name?

Yes. I’m aware of that. But is his name actually on the company statutes? I don’t think so. He is the ultimate beneficial owner, but I don’t believe his name is on the statutes.

Yes, that is a common mistake made in Malta, which has real estate agents that sell, curiously, ‘property’ rather than real estate.

A fine for what? The act says the transfer of property transferred into a trust.

Who actually holds the Panama company? Konrad Mizzi is the beneficial owner of a bearer share Panama company but where is his name listed on that company deed?

Where is the property? I wasn’t aware that either the London house or the Malta flat had been fully paid up and transferred, and according to statements made, they haven’t been.

Since it is the Commissioner of Revenue who must call for action, he will just review the case and say that there was no property in the trust that should have been registered, or fined, after all. Unless we’re talking about a fine on those 92 euros (dollars?).

As important as details of Panamagate are, it is also important that voters remember that there was already enough evidence of corruption in the current administration to justify a rally, well before this story broke.
