This kind of corruption sadly exists in another 20 to 50 nations worldwide. But what stands out in Malta is the arrogance of the government’s reaction and their attack on the freedom of speech.

This vindictive, hateful and unprofessional approach towards anyone who dares criticise them is what makes Malta now a very dangerous place politically.

They won’t survive for long. The truth will always surface, and what is just will always win over dishonesty and corruption. But some countries have gone to the pits before seeing any recovery of decency and true democracy.
