The way Reno Bugeja presented the programme downplayed the issue. THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST SCANDALS IN THE HISTORY OF MALTA. THE PRIME MINISTER IS INVOLVED.

Reno or Cacopardo said that closing the company was a step forward. NO, IT ISN’T. At best it’s tampering with the evidence. Why didn’t Reno ask him whether he plans to resign? Why didn’t he ask him, since Konrad’s bullshit argument was that Maltese trusts were unsuitable, why he didn’t open a company in an EU member state, ESPECIALLY given his so-called knowledge about trusts in England?

WHY PANAMA? A BLACK LISTED COUNTRY? Why didn’t he ask him whether it was a bit convenient that he ‘declared’ it after being caught? Why didn’t he ask him whether or not he’d be pursuing a libel case against the ‘hate blogger’?

There’s no doubt about it: it’s a whitewash. Anyone who understands the situation – and Reno is not stupid, he does – and treats it so lightly should be condemned.
