Please don’t insult our intelligence. If there was an iota of self-respect among those present they would have booed her off stage.

Exactly – that’s what I think they’re now planning on doing. Now that they know they have lost people’s trust, and their chances of winning another election are slim, they’re going to make the most of this term in office as it will probably be their only one, and will stretch it out to the full five years + six months permitted at law, though those six months are only for extraordinary situations in reality.

1. Take things for granted.

2. Underestimate people’s stupidity and lack of powers of analysis.

3. Fail to develop a system of education at school and at home which makes people good judges of character.

4. Foster greed and shallowness, and the herd mentality. Now even those who like to think of themselves as different and individual have to be different and individual in a herd of others like them.
