Konrad Mizzi refused to be interviewed by The Malta Independent unless his outrageous demands were met i.e. providing him beforehand with all the details of the information that they had in their possession.

The only explanation is that he is panicking and has no idea what and how much information journalists have about his secret operations. It’s now crystal clear that he has a lot to hide.

No amount of warnings, lies and personal attacks against ex ministers will divert public attention from Panamagate. The Minister does not have the option to refuse interviews and to stop journalists from doing their work properly. The public is demanding explanations.

It seems that this Police Union is doing all the talking these days. I do not know under what protocol this is being done, it seems to be an attempt to introduce collective responsibility for statements issued. A reflection of the confusion rife in Malta today.

Konrad Mizzi worked for a while with PCubed, a nebulous management consultancy firm in the UK. He was specifically involved in the energy business for “Europe, the Middle East and Africa”… and that probably just means facilitating African dictators’ money transactions.
