Identity Malta was announced in a legal notice in early September 2013 when everyone’s attention was distracted and there could be no debate in parliament.

Shortly after that, Muscat went to China – in the guise of a conference speaker – to sell Enemalta’a future to China. While there he told a Bloomberg Businessweek reporter about his plans to sell EU passports. At no point did he say anything to parliament about any of these plans.
