She has to face the fact that the Party has become totally complicit (if it ever was any other way) since electing Konrad Mizzi as its deputy leader knowing full well the extent of his crimes (and that was before Schembri was in the same picture, mind you).

There are no genuine ‘Laburisti’ who would be offended by what Mizzi and Muscat have done. Muscat has made his adoration of Mintoff clear to the public several times and made himself out to be Mintoff 2.0. He even brought back the same fossils from his ‘Golden Age’ cabinet and tried to rewrite history in their favour.

The ‘genuine’ Labourites voted for them all, along with the switchers enticed by the false promises of iced buns from the Movement. This is the legacy the Labour Party has chosen to uphold time and time again, one of institutionalised corruption, to the benefit of its inner circle and a number of their acolytes and to the detriment of the Maltese people.

If there are any decent persons affiliated with Labour, they would do well to just abandon ship and form a new party altogether. Let the mortal blow be struck. The Labour Party’s more than earned it.

I reported last Saturday night that Brian Tonna of Nexia BT set up a company in tax haven BVI for Keith Schembri before the 2013 general election. I reposted it when I realised that many people missed it, in the excitement about the news that he too had set up a company in Panama and a trust in New Zealand.
