Much as I don’t have time for his wife or her avaricious frivolity, I can’t help thinking how she doesn’t stand a chance at making her unhappiness felt without being bludgeoned by that spiteful tongue and tu quoque responses. She doesn’t strike me as the sort to give as good as she gets and it’s so obvious that he has no time or patience for her at all.
