In reply to Makjavel. How is it proof that they are shipping arms to ISIS? The phrase 'Syrian rebel groups' is not usually used to refer to ISIS but to the myriad groups in Syria that oppose the government, and who are not necessarily affiliated with ISIS.

Apart from the rights of journalists , it is also a proof that the Turkish government is shipping arms to ISIS. These journalists stand accused of revealing state secrets, and not of making false accusations.

It’s actually due to impatience, not patience. Also, the imprecise use of language by Maltese people is a subject which transfixes me. I think it’s caused by the fact that the two languages of Malta are at the extreme, polar ends of the language spectrum: Maltese has an extremely limited vocabulary in which one word is made to serve multifarious purposes and where in many cases no word exists to describe certain things, while English is the most diverse and flexible language in existence, one in which there is a specific word for almost everything and they are not necessarily interchangeable.

It wasn’t a failure a buy my silence, but the inability to do so – so it cannot be construed as a blunder, which is libellous in my regard. “Blunder” means that they simply omitted or forgot to do so. No offence meant here, but this is exactly why imprecise language REALLY gets on my nerves and why it is so dangerous.
