Political parties cannot survive without loans and donations. What is of the essence is transparency. Chico is not right. He voted Labour in 2013 and I’m hoping he has more sense this time.

Perhaps the man in the street would rather the Nationalist Party were bankrolled by Ilham Aliyev and Beijing, like the Labour Party.

The man in the street is largely responsible for the terrible situation Malta is now in, and should consequently get a grip on himself and work out that political parties don’t have anything to sell (or rather, shouldn’t sell anything) and have to be financed somehow.
