When people respond to you like that, you must assume that they voted Labour and that they are protecting their own ego and sense of self-respect by responding as they do.

In fact, when what you believed are sensible people pretend to be unable to see what is wrong with Konrad Mizzi’s and Keith Schembri’s activities, this is the most glaring give-away that they voted to put them into power.

That is indeed what they are doing here. I am also sorry to say that unfortunately, a huge chunk of the Maltese public is in fact buying into this bs.

I have had countless heated arguments with close friends and family since this broke out, and most of them still cannot get past the intricate and well-planned deceit that Labour has been offering.

I guess it must pay for Labour to have large numbers of people who lack logical and critical thinking, as most people are simply not able to understand how Keith Schembri and Konrad Mizzi planned this out in a way that would protect them from EVERY single prying eye.

For goodness’ sake, I’ve even had people working in the financial industry saying,”But they’ll be going through a tax audit so they’ve nothing to hide”.

What a sad, sad time we live in.

I was wondering and thinking the same thing. I don’t think the Times of Malta were misled – it is either incompetence or deliberate editing by the editor/s appointed by Adrian Hillman.

There is no other rationale for the ‘half-baked’ or stories and the partial reporting.
