I remember Joseph Muscat boasting in public that he would rather eat a hamburger than go to a state dinner. A few years later, he secretly whisks Michelle & kids off to one of the most expensive hotels in world. How can we stand by silently and allow this to happen? This is wrong on so many levels. Wake up! Wake up! Wake up, Malta.

The scandal is bound to become much bigger than it already is. The Prime Minister knows this as he must be directly involved big time. One has only got to read the events in the past couple of weeks …. the triad, JM-KM-KS, have evidently decided to each act separately in trying to limit their damage.

Konrad Mizzi is evidently the most exposed and he had to act publicly in the eye of the media and he hasn’t made a very a good job of it.

Keith Schembri has decided to keep a low profile and has been very busy in trying to destroy or hide any evidence against him.

The Prime Minister is, by obvious circumstances, a mixture of the two – he is in the public eye yet trying to avoid any reference to the scandal while obviously trying to hide his tracks of his involvement.

The role of other cabinet members in all this is not very clear. Some members of cabinet are certainly not involved and evidently uncomfortable but have not expressed themselves publicly.

Owen Bonnici and Chris Cardona, possibly Ian Borg as well, are somewhat more on the frontline but their reasons might be to hide their own misdemeanours not necessarily linked to Panamagate.

History has yet to be written on this scandal. We have to keep watching and wait for more revelations.
