Mr Borg Cardona, you are a man after my own heart. A PG Wodehouse fan, and a smoker. If only you would ditch that modesty, you would consider my comment as a compliment, for you are among that handful of exceptions that proves the rule.

But how many of you are there? Two hundred, tops, out of half million is a fluke. John Paul Grech is retired, like Giovanni Bonello and Joseph Filletti. Richard Cachia Caruana is no longer in government service. Carmel Vassallo is retired.

Out of the people that run the country, how many are not dire? The powerful are dire, and the good ones hold no power.
