For how long does Konrad Mizzi think that he can keep on regurgitating this bullshit?

The answer is: as long as there are idiots who have the right to vote.

NO MINISTER. Declaring an asset-holding company does not unhide it.

For any company to be unhidden and available for audit by the tax commissioner, it needs to be registered in a jurisdiction where the tax commissioner is enabled by law of that jurisdiction to go to all banks holding that company’s accounts and demand an audit of all the accounts held by that company.

Such a jurisdiction is Malta.

And a jurisdiction where the tax commissioner has absolutely no right to do such an audit is Panama, the very jurisdiction where Konrad Mizzi set up his secret company, and where banks are required by law to keep secret all their individual clients’ affairs, and will only divulge any such information if ordered by a criminal court in Panama after the requesting jurisdiction (Malta, in this case) proves to the court in Panama that 1) the person in question is ALREADY being prosecuted for criminal offenses in the home jurisdiction, 2) the same offense is also classified as criminal in Panama, and 3) that there is no other way for the requesting jurisdiction to obtain the information being sought.

And guess what. In Panama, all tax related offenses are classified as civil offenses, not criminal.

So here’s the BIG LIE that KONrad Mizzi is konning and feeding the incompetent media in Malta for the gullible faithful to swallow, hook, line and sinker included:

“I have submitted myself to a tax audit by the tax commissioner.”

The tax commissioner in Malta simply cannot conduct an effective and complete audit of Hearnville Inc – the secret company set up by KONrad Mizzi in Panama held by Rotorua Trust, his trust in New Zealand – because:

1) KONrad Mizzi is not being prosecuted in Malta for any criminal offense
2) Breaches of tax laws in Panama are classified as civil offenses, not criminal
3) No criminal court in Panama will ever grant permission to or oblige banks in Panama to cooperate with the tax commissioner in Malta because of 1) and 2) above

And from this one can easily see that ALL DOCUMENTS presented to the press by KONrad Mizzi are simply worthless because they cannot be challenged and verified by any court in any jurisdiction, including those of Panama itself.

The directors of Hearnville Inc will willingly sign a million documents declaring that there are no assets held in the company, for any director of any offshore company registered in Panama knows full well that there is no way for any jurisdiction including Panama’s own to challenge them in ANY court.
