It is completely unacceptable to discuss women’s looks or to refer to them in situations where they are not the point (e.g. the Miss World Contest).

Is anybody discussing Mario Frendo’s physical appearance? Does anybody ever discuss how ugly – and boy, are they ugly – our government ministers are rather than what they actually do?

Maltese people are SO backward.

No, she was not dressed appropriately. This is not about ‘smart’ or ‘casual’. Appropriate means appropriate for the nature of the work. You can run around in trousers and flat shoes (Frendo) but you can’t do so without looking ridiculous when you are wearing a flapping skirt and heels.

Kudos to this young journalist and his persistence, he’s a breath of fresh air. Did anyone notice how at -1:28 / -1:27 remaining the Prime Minister grabs the arm of his bodyguard to give him a sign to move out of the way? In reply to Xinhua. 1st May he expects many thousands of Labour diehards to come out in force plus early May we will see the release of large tranches of additional information from the Panama Papers, and Muscat is hoping there will be Nationalist names included. Muscat and his rats will ratchet up the atmosphere to the point of violence and then blame the Nationalist Party for creating the violence: the equivalent of a man beating his wife and blaming her for his loss of control.
