According to Janice Bartolo’s Noddy we should be thankful to Konrad Mizzi for the reduction of fuel price because he is working hard every day to make Malta better. What a*seholes.

Thanks to the free press, on Monday we should know more about how hard Konrad Mizzi has been working on his secret Panama schemes with Kasco and probably others.

How will you help fight our own battles? By voting the anti-democratic Malta Labour Party, with its massive baggage of human right abuses and led by an uncritical admirer of Dom Mintoff, into government?

Most of us who worked and voted to drag Malta into the EU, did so precisely because we knew that the MLP would always be a threat to democracy and human rights. We wanted the European institutions to act as a bulwark against the MLP`s tyranny.

Do you really believe most of those who voted Labour did so because of its corruption-busting credentials?

The impression I have is the Nationalist Party became unpopular because of its refusal to accommodate corrupt elements within it. In fact they flocked to Muscat`s skip.

Many electors were also irritated by the fact that as a general rule the Nationalist Party tried to play by the rules rather then bend them to curry favour with its electorate.

Thatcher or Reagan would have never condoned the setting up of money-laundering vehicles by one of their ministers or aides. They would have been out on their ears before even realizing.

This is corruption, pure and simple. There’s no need to over-analyse.
