I disagree. It makes sense only if you have an indefinite work contract, which fits your career aspirations. An MEP posting is not a career.

Malta is not less expensive than it is anywhere else. You might think that, though, if the last time you lived in Malta it was with your parents. And he most certainly wouldn’t have been paying 3,000 euros a month on rent in Brussels. For a start, he owned his flat.

What is your reasoning re Muscat then, Mr. Cole? The minimum annual earnings of €60,000 are a fact.
