Mizzi, Muscat and the Labour Party are paying a price. There are reasons why the PM is not taking action, and people speculate.

Meanwhile, Malta is getting really bad press. The country is in free fall and momentum has been gained since the infamous passport for sale scheme was introduced.

There can only be one plausible reason and that is the unexpected loss of its secret existence seven weeks ago. It cannot be for any other reason because “everyone does it” (Debbie S), “if its declared, its fine” (Muscat), “it has no bank account” (Mizzi-Cardona). Meanwhile, by contrast, Keith Schembri says nothing about “his”.
