The Marigold Foundation was set up by Michelle Muscat with the Bank of Valletta specifically to serve as her personal publicity vehicle. So it did not “get mixed up in the mess”. It actually IS the mess itself.

What about the European Graduate School that our minister for education commends for its lectures series in St Elmo, Valletta. Read what is on Wikipedia on this educational institution with no real accrediation (except in Malta).

This is what Wikipedia claims about EGS:

The EGS lacks academic accreditation from an accrediting agency that is recognized by the U.S. Council for Higher Education Accreditation.[12] As a result, degrees from the EGS are not currently recognized by many state education authorities in the United States.
