Governments do not investigate people. And they shouldn’t. Governments should make sure that the country has autonomous and independent institutions which act without reference to the government either way.

Are you sure this tent is not in connection with the upcoming Mediterranean leadership conference tomorrow? I don’t see the logic of a small tent for a mass meeting. Its facing the wrong way and what would be the point of hiding under a tent when it comes to aerial/drone photography?

Mrs Borg was at school in the 1950s and 1960s, and Mr Privitera in the pre-war era. I don’t think the Nationalist governments of the 1990s and beyond can be blamed for their inability to reason.

In any case, I went to a lousy school in the Golden Years of Labour, and I’m perfectly capable of thinking straight.

Try explaining all this to people like Valerie Borg and that poor excuse for a brain, Eddy Privitera. It is Malta’s great misfortune that despite the supposed improved level of education in recent years, there are still many thousands like these two who are blind or in total denial of what is happening to this country.

And far, far sadder is the fact that the children of this hardcore Labour generation are just as ignorant or worse than they are.
