In reply to Silvan Said. Alfred Sant did NOT see through it - or rather, he saw through it and went along with it. Because he said exactly the same thing: that Konrad Mizzi should resign. But as a former prime minister, more than anybody else, he should have told us what the prime minister should do, and not what Konrad Mizzi should do: sack him.

Definitely. Nothing that goes on in party conferences is impromptu. The shenanigans were designed to generate exclamations of “kemm hu ragel” for Mizzi and “inhallu f’idejn il prim u daqshekk” for Muscat. Alfred Sant saw through it and had the guts to say it clearly. The rest just send out noises.
