The PL will try to buy the same vote by using slogans to bypass their thought process, being persistent and have secretaries calling them and make promises to them and help them avoid some queue or give them a small favour.

Overall I agree with you (although all comments above are valid) but we need to look forward since 2013 is a long time ago and many scandals ago. PN candidates have to really work harder than they think they should.

I cannot but disagree with this statement. All my grandparents followed Mintoff and I wasn’t brought up to be a corrupt fraud. The only values they thought me were those of work, generosity, social justice and honesty. Thousands of people raised in Mintoffian families voted for democracy in 1987 and then for EU Membership in 2003. Some of us did fall in Muscat’s trap in 2013 as did many others who were brought up applauding Borg Olivier and Fenech Adami. Moreover, Nationalists governments with the likes of Dalli, JPO, a couple of oil traders, corrupt policemen and judges did not teach a lot of good values, didn’t they?
