Muscat lost it. His latest threat to Busuttil, who was nowhere near parliamentary immunity this time, is nothing but gratuitious.

It is also blatant intimidation. I expect Muscat to propose a bill making it a crime to ask a prime minister to uphold his sworn duty to the republic.

Musumeci’s hints at calling a ceasefire along the same lines.

So I am at a tax conference organised by MIT – topics of discussion: automatic exchange of information, general negative connotations of having companies in tax havens, OECD matters, tax compliance, tax fairness.

Needless to say Panama Papers was mentioned by the foreign speakers.

And at the start of the session the introduction was a 15 minute waffle by Edward Scicluna, not knowing what to say given his acceptance of his Prime Minister’s position of condoning tax evasion.
