Maltese residents in the UK can vote in elections, including the forthcoming referendum. To vote in the UK one has to register to be included on the Register of Electors.

There are tens of thousands of Maltese citizens who don’t have the vote. When the law permitting dual nationality was introduced, practically every Maltese emigrant or son/daughter of emigrants applied for Maltese citizenship and got it.
