Such people can anticipate what HSBC would do and hence choose another route. The end result is the same: HSBC documents which look fake for multiple reasons.

The Hillman report dated 2013 is also a bit suspicious as if you look at the bottom of the form the bank registered address is given as 233 Republic Street but this was changed to Archbishop Street in 2011. This can be seen from MFSA Registry of Companies. This fact also holds for the other two references.

Maybe a small insignificant detail, but Adrian Hillman’s form carries his ID card number below his name. There is no ID number in the other two forms relative to Scerri and Schembri. It’s very unlikely that a bank would leave out such an important identifying number: passport or ID.
