Even the public could be manipulated. If you’ve been brainwashed by the media to vote for someone because you thought they’d also give the vote to you, or becuase you’re made to believe its better. Most voters will automatically vote. I think the whole voting system is a scam, and should not be encouraged.

I am not obsessed with image at all. As is amply evident, I couldn’t be bothered. And my only interest in age grows out of the fact that I live on an island where grown adults behave and think like teenagers, as though they have ‘frozen’ emotionally and intellectually at the age of 17. You are a case in point. I imagine you must be in your 40s, or late 30s at least – but anybody who didn’t know that would think from reading your comments, that you are 19.

I seriously doubt that the Polish diaspora were glued to the Eurovision Song Contest across Europe, or could be bothered to phone in their vote. Can we stop taking this so seriously and navel-gazing about it? Malta’s act was lousy – it lacked irony, humour and self-parody (except for the intentional variety, which was a complete killer).
