Let’s say for argument’s sake that Konrad Mizzi had the most honourable of intentions when he set up a shell company in Panama, which he settled in his secret New Zealand trust. Let’s consider for a moment that he was misled by others, perhaps even by his own financial advisor.

But even then, does this not mean that he’s missing a few screws and is not fit to be an MP, let alone a minister?

Following tonight’s vote of confidence in Konrad Mizzi, it is now evident that the whole Labour cabinet/backbench is corrupt and favourably endorses the preparatory acts to launder money.

Tonight’s vote is immoral and scandalous and shames them. Each and every one of them is responsible for lack of respect for democracy, the rule of law, the electorate, and complete lack of concern for the future consequences of this mess.
