Maybe, but there is not enough parking space at Mater Dei Hospital Of the 1876 parking slots, 1000 are reserved for staff, more then 200 for handicapped and the rest for all.

When one considers that more then 2500 out-patients go there every day, between 9.00am and noon, you might understand why one has to park wherever. Allowing 1000 parking spaces for staff is ridiculous.

Staff should be encouraged to use organised transport not to use their own cars. That would mean 1000 cars less at peak hour on the road.

It’s not about parking where one isn’t supposed to. It shows his mentality of ‘I couldn’t care less’.

People who need parking space there don’t go for a joy ride. They need support and empathy. By parking there when he is not supposed to he shows he is a Neanderthal.

If they cannot show respect in such situations, how can we believe that they respect the rule of law, where the government, its officials and agents are accountable under the law.

This attitude is truly symptomatic of the corrupt, arrogant and selfish officials who in the end are representing the government whether they realise it or otherwise.
