And as was already mentioned, since ITS is moving to the far end of the island, both teachers and students alike have complained of the trips to and fro, while also for the fact that they will be very far off the actual training grounds in St Julians, where most of the students get their practice after all.

Ah well, it seems Silvio Debono’s contributions pre election were substantial. That’s what you get when Labour is in power.

Ah, but here’s the thing: successive Nationalist governments and the Nationalist Party did ‘entertain’ Silvio Debono. But they mistook his interest for political support rather than as strategic sucking-up in the interest of his business. And as soon as he worked out the obvious – that Joseph Muscat and the Labour Party were coming up from behind and would definitely win the 2013 general election – he began hosting Labour politicians, socialising with Super One people and donating money to the Labour Party. In reply to C Camilleri. You think that by election time there will be anything to demolish? At the very most they may have demolished the Institute for Tourism Studies building. You only need to look at Metropolis Plaza (Ex Zammit showroom) or the former Mistra Village or the former Jerma Palace Hotel.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it until the next general election, and I hope the people who voted Labour(not the Laburisti sal-mewt, ghax dawk klassi ghalihom) will have at least half a droplet of common sense and realize what a huge mess Malta has become and do the right thing.

I agree with you completely, but I don’t believe that the Nationalist Party will be elected with the help of these big-time contractors who got public land for free, and who have illegal buildings and enforcement notices plastered all over.

I really doubt they can buy 36,000+ votes – never underestimate the power of the people. Without the majority of these people, these contractors would be nothing.
