You’re living in cloud cuckoo land. He’s one of the very few politicians that over many years has remained uncorruptible and coherent.

I deleted it, as I do others in the same vein, for the simple reason that tit-for-tat, ping-pong exchanges between individuals, which make the comments-boards of newspapers so banal and boring, are banned on this website. I am uploading it now so that you are clear about the rules. The rule is: if you want to bicker with somebody, take it outside.

If you wish to be taken seriously, you had best ditch the “they’re both just as bad” argument. There is no room for any such nihilism masquerading as idealism when you’re over 21 and in the 21st century.

I prefer to perceive a reality where ‘good’ is ‘good’. Only when we start holding our our politicians (equally and on both sides) accountable to this standard can we truly hope to move forward.
