There is something in their psyche that seems to block their ability to perceive a conflict of interest or just sheer inappropriateness. We’ve seen this again and again and again. And people who should no better justify it because it is not illegal.

I wonder whether that missing letter will ever turn up. The type for which he really should have declared a conflict of interest towards since, in his own words – Gaffarena has been a client for years.

Is there no delineation whatsoever? What are these people who function as though it is perfectly in order for private interests to be furthered by their political involvement?

Who had access to that file where the expropriation request for Gaffarena’s part-share in the property went missing – besides Muscat as overlord?
