The Minister of Finance is a hypocrite. He defends his cabinet colleague, Korrot Mizzi, in a parliamentary vote, but then boasts about suspending a civil servant whose wife is mentioned in the Panama Papers as the owner (though this is left unsaid) of a company. Hypocrites is too good a word for them.

The Minister seems to be proud of this decision and therefore knows what should be done in the circumstances. However, I now question more than ever why he voted against the motion of no confidence in Konrad Mizzi when, as Minister of Finance, he should have been the one to propose the motion of no confidence.
