There is only a definition of the Opposition.

But you wouldn’t even need that if Maltese people were taught the workings of the Westminster model of parliament, which is what we use in Malta. The Opposition has a whip and the government has a whip. If you are not under a whip, then you are independent. Where do you think the expression ‘toe the line’ comes from? The line is the whip: three-line whip and so on.
