One question begs to be asked. Where did he get the money from?

It could have been through corruption while he was in office.

This should be investigated and the necessary action taken, to act as a deterrent to present and future politicians.

If not, they will simply get bolder.Just look at Konrad Mizzi.

The fact is that those of us who are associated with the Nationalist Party view Ninu Zammit’s behaviour – not even considering any deal he might have struck with Muscat’s Labour Party before the 2013 election – as an act of betrayal. Similarly with Michael Falzon.

And these people were one-offs; the exception not the rule.

Joseph Muscat promised us a new kind of politics. And we got it – one where corruption is the rule and honesty is the exception.
