You go ahead and play games with your future. But at 51, and having spent literally half my life dealing with crap Labour governments, I’m not going to waste time trying anything. I just want normal life without wondering what kind of corrupt stunt the government is going to pull every week.

Red/Blue, my eye – this isn’t about Red and Blue. This is about Bad and Good. A good party with some bad people in it is a whole lot different to a bad party with some good people in it. You want to be choosing the former. Labour is corrupt to the core.

Voting for the lesser evil (if you want to put it that way) is the intelligent choice, when not doing so will give you the greater evil.

I tend to see electoral choices as a test of intelligence rather than anything else. Basically, it’s understanding that you only get a choice of two Prime Ministers. There isn’t a third choice or an option of having no Prime Minister at all.

So you look at them and you think, right, I don’t like either of them, but one of them is going to run the country anyway, so let’s see, which one would I rather have do that?
