The really shocking thing about her – apart from the corrupt means by which she obtained her job – is that instead of using her good degrees to strike out into the world alone, she had her mother get her an unremarkable job via her friends the Transport Malta chairman and the Prime Minister.

Is she really that inept at applying for jobs and making her mark at interviews that she had to take the corrupt, soft option? Or does she completely lack drive?

Either way: typical Maltese socialist – “don’t make your own way in life; latch yourself onto some teat.”
