Have to say that I am not following the news as I have always done. Because it gets more and more depressing.

The information that has been uncovered lately is sufficient in any ‘normal’ democratic country to dissolve a government. But in Malta? Nothing! Not even one resignation! We could have a motion against the government on a daily basis but they are all captive of Joseph Muscat.

Do we really have to wait another two years with these scum bags? Whatever more may be uncovered will never be enough to get them down. They will stay in power not a day less than what is permitted by law. So depressing.

I despair. What a screwed up country.

A corrupt right hand man to a corrupt prime minister getting involved in substantial kickbacks and, wait for it, applauded by the justice minister and condoned by the finance minister.

The whole of parliament on the government side reeks of corruption. These are the same people who raised hell because a previous minister accepted a 400 euro clock as a present.

This will never go away. They make up the most corrupt administration this country ever had. I cannot believe they have the front to debate issues, of whatever nature, when they have “corruption” plastered on their foreheads.

As long as the Labour MPs, and Labour Party officials, kowtow to the Prime Minister, and thus become accomplices in what they know that he, Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri are and have been doing, this brazen abuse of their official position will go on.

Let us hope that, in its clear majority, the electorate will boot them out of office at the first opportunity.

What is so shocking is that these bastards could have spent the next five to ten years amassing enormous fortunes coming from graft, tax evasion, false invoicing, and all sorts of back room corruption – without ever being discovered.

The lengths they went to set up this dream of a multi-billion dollar black economy private banking system are amazing. But what takes the prize for utter cynical dishonesty is that while they were fixing this all up, they were asking us to applaud their efforts to stamp out the “old PN corruption” by passing the whistleblowing, party financing and no prescription on corruption laws and thus assuring us that no more would a minister ever take a 400-euro clock from the wife of a businessman.

And we must not forget that their plan worked for a time, that they were caught breaking the law and that notwithstanding all this, they remained fixed in office. How’s that for arrogance?
