How wrong you are. People write as they think, which exactly why so many people struggle to write – because their thoughts are disorganised and ungrammatical and so they have to spend time forming proper sentences which then sound artificial.

I write very quickly precisely because my thoughts are put down exactly as they come into my head: organised and grammatical bar the odd blip when I’m exhausted.

Irrational people have irrational thoughts and because grammar is the friend of rationality and enemy of irrationality, irrational people struggle with language. When people make irrational arguments in eloquent language – two examples, Farage and Boris Johnson – you will find that they are only pretending to be irrational.

Calling people fascist is not over. It is now reality. Those with any knowledge of or insight into history immediately recognise the parallels with Germany in the late 1920s.
