And they feel they’re entitled to it because they they do it from a sense of social justice. Anybody else doing the same does it out of corruption. Not them though.

Take the case of ex PS Dr Michael Falcon. After stepping down one would have expected him to return to BoV. That would have meant for him to refund X thousands amount of euros. So what does he do? On the basis of his right to work and “jitma’ his familja”, he lands himself into another job outside the bank’s ambit. That way he can both have his cake as well as eat it.

Or take the last case to be implicated in embezzlement of funds. Jimmy Magro (again) ex General Secretary of the MLP in his capacity as consultant to the Local Councils Association. He has already been suspended from his role.

And so many people believed Labour ministers and deputies had raised their moral standards since their Mintoff-Lorry Sant days.
