Unbelievable. Most of Malta’s electricity is being bought through the interconnector at very cheap prices, and the brand new versatile BWSC plant is practically on standby. And yet this corrupt government colluded with a few selected businessmen allowing them to build yet another power station and to negotiate a power purchase agreement that will see them laughing all the way to the bank for the next 18 years.
