Arrogance, ignorance, showing-off, lying brazenly, all mixed together, are typical of persons who know that their proximity to persons in power shields them. They do not care.

And they are right because they have seen criminals rewarded with well-paid jobs, and a minister and the Prime Minister’s chief of staff defended by the PM himself, tooth and nail, backed by a vote in parliament, after concrete evidence that they behaved in a manner that led to resignations in other countries.

How was it a case of “us or it” if the shark was found dead on the shore?

At least have the decency to tell a coherent lie, mate.

OK, so let me get this straight: according to his story he and his friends went out on a boat that was big enough to take them all the way to Libya without permission, to fish in Libya waters without permission, but then went to the Libyan shore, set foot on Libyan land- again without permission-and found a dead great white.

Then they got the boat all the way to the shore- because now the boat can do that despite its size- and they put the shark on the boat.

Give me a break.
