Entirely consistent. He’s a fascist. Germans still hold magnetic attraction for fascists, as the historic home of fascism. It’s only Merkel and present-day Germany as a state that they don’t like, in the context of the EU.

JC Superstar people like you do my head in. How long is it going to take you to understand that the English voter’s biggest concern was uncontrolled immigration from peripheral EU? In case your brain cannot wrap itself that far that’s the likes of you and I. Conveniently Farage the stockbroker that just made himself a few million I’m sure by that bit of slip up had no other concerns. Those from Pakistan, India and or ex-African colonies were never an issue for him. Neither was he worried about Arabs with petro-dollars invading London. Is that all the EU’s making as well? Guess what, those ultra rich Saudis are very good at head-chopping too.

It’s just human nature isn’t it?

The history of Europe since World War II has been a reaction to WWII for the most part. We have oscillated too far in the opposite direction, and now, slowly but surely, as the memories of WWII fade, we are gravitating back to our natural state – one of fear, ignorance, suspicion, hatred, selfishness and small-mindedness.

For that is our natural state, one which some of us manage to rise out of – through education I suppose (though that is admittedly a simplistic viewpoint, but I want to keep this short, so there you go).

As the ignorant masses outnumber the educated, as I suppose they always will, fear and ignorance is sadly going to be the norm for a long time to come.

It’s an endless cycle, and the only way I can see us getting out of it is if aliens from outer space come and expose us for the idiots that we are.
